This began as a modest remodel of a beautiful, if date 90’s home, on one of Bend’s finest lots, but through a great collaborative relationship between Bend Originals and the home owners, became a cohesive whole house remodel. We believe the results speak for themselves - a classic and refined house, yet incredibly comfortable to be in. 

Hardly an surface was left untouched in this project: 

• New engineered wood flooring, rated for radiant heat and a glue down installation. This task required careful removal of the original marble floors to avoid damaging the radiant heat floor tubing.

• New kitchen, resulting in a clean and elegant space for chefs and entertainers

• New stone fireplace, which required sourcing 3 different stones to blend with the granite hearth

• Custom stair railings and metal caps, fabricated to match a photo provided by the client

• Removal of a master bedroom window that looked at the neighbors

• New bathroom cabinetry that resembles furniture, removed a glass block wall, and updated the shower and install a freestanding bathtub

• Modified and painted office cabinets

• Extensive wrapping of interior beams and posts

• Installed floating shelves and new cabinets, replaced fireplace, and refreshed bathrooms on the lower level and great room

• Installed smart controls to allow owners to control the lights, window blinds, and door locks from their phones
